Akin to Scots _thoch_ (“though”), Saterland Frisian _dach_ (“though”), West Frisian _dôch_, _dochs_ (“though”), Dutch _doch_ (“though”), German _doch_ (“though”), Swedish _dock_ (“however, still”), Icelandic _þó_ (“though”).
